Apache County Court Records After Arrest
A jail booking and a criminal court case are separate records. The Apache County Citizen RIMS roster shows booking charges entered at intake, along with booking date, arresting agency, bail fields, and custody status. The court case begins when a prosecutor files charges, or when a court processes the matter under the proper case type. That court file is the better source for filed charges, case status, hearings, judgments, sentence, and later sealing activity.
Apache County uses a County Attorney, not a "District Attorney" title. The Apache County Attorney's Office prosecutes felonies and misdemeanors that occur outside city limits. City or municipal processes may be involved for some local matters. A person checking custody should use Apache County jail inmate records; a person checking photos should use Apache County jail mugshots. For the filed case, the court record controls.
Search Apache County Court Records
The main free online starting point is Arizona Public Access case lookup. Apache County Clerk materials state that online Apache County Superior Court cases since 1995 are searchable at no charge through Public Access. The statewide portal requires a verification step and carries important limits: sealed cases, Orders of Protection, mental health and probate cases, victim or witness data, juvenile delinquency or incorrigible matters, and local ordinance violations may be excluded.

Apache County Clerk Records
The Apache County Clerk of the Superior Court is the official local record custodian for Superior Court files. The Clerk page lists Annell Hounshell as Clerk and gives the courthouse address as Apache County Superior Court House, 70 W. 3rd South St., PO Box 365, St. Johns, AZ 85936. The phone is 928-337-7550 and fax is 928-337-2771. In-person record searches at the Clerk's office are free during weekday office hours except holidays, and the page advises calling ahead when a file may be in storage.

Apache County eAccess Documents
Arizona eAccess provides registered online access to Superior Court civil and criminal records filed on or after July 1, 2010. It is different from the free Public Access index. eAccess can be useful when a person needs document images rather than docket-level case information, but registration and document purchase or subscription rules may apply.

Charges Filed After Arrest
Booking charges are law-enforcement or jail-intake entries. Prosecutor-filed charges are court records. In Apache County, the County Attorney may file felony charges and outside-city misdemeanors, while justice or municipal courts can handle some lower-level matters. Charges can be amended, reduced, dismissed, or added after the first booking entry.

Apache County Charge Status
Charge status tells where an allegation sits in the court process. It is not the same as custody status. A person can be out of jail while charges remain pending, and a person can be in custody on a warrant or hold after some charges are dismissed. Bond and Warrants After Arrest
Bond details may appear first in the jail record, but the court controls release terms. Apache County Jail accepts cash bonds and bonding company bonds, while cash bonds over $10,000 must be posted at the courthouse that issued the order. Funds placed on an inmate account do not become bond money. A no-bond hold, detainer, probation or parole issue, warrant, or another agency hold can prevent release.
Apache County Citizen RIMS did not have warrants enabled during the May 28, 2026 configuration check. The Arizona DPS warrant search is the statewide online warrant source documented in the research. DPS requires first name, last name, and date of birth, returns a maximum of five results, and warns that results are not real time. The issuing court must confirm any warrant.
Charges vs Convictions
An arrest or charge is an accusation. A conviction is a court outcome after a guilty plea, verdict, or other judgment. Apache County court records after an arrest may show both, but readers should not treat a booking charge as a conviction.

Sealed Arrest Court Records
Arizona provides record relief through statutes such as A.R.S. 13-911 for sealing certain arrest, conviction, and sentencing records when statutory conditions are met. Arizona also has set-aside relief under A.R.S. 13-905. Sealing is not the same as deleting every government record, and eligibility depends on the case facts, outcome, waiting periods, and court orders.
